The Sabarmati River has been the lifeline of the city of Ahmedabad for centuries. The river was given a prominence when the city went through an urban overhaul in 2005. The project aims to provide Ahmedabad with a meaningful waterfront environment along the banks of the Sabarmati River and to redefine an identity of Ahmedabad around the river.
